"A horn filled with silver coins was dug up near the stone circle (NH85NW 10) at Achnuallan forty years ago - but no correct information is preserved of their nation or date".
NSA (written by J Matheson - 1841) 1845.

There is no local knowledge of any place called "Achnuallan".
Visited by OS (R D) 16 August 1964.
