Full Description
See Thumbnail photo - showing structure from the south. M Marshall, 10/01.
A single structure lies on the east bank of tha Allt Lorgaidh just as it emerges from the Slochd Beag onto the fluvial? Fan and the main valley floor. It is situated 30m from the stream. It does not appear on any maps although the aerial photos taken in 1995 show an abundance of rig and furrow cultivation in the vicinity.
The structure lies on a N/S axis, measures 10m by 3m internally and has grass covered turf footing rising to a height of between 0.2 and 0.3m. The corners of the building are squarish and there is no evidence of an entrance.
Information supplied by M Marshall, 10/01.
