Full Description

1st ed OS shows a building immed adj to the NE side of the millpond in the wood. By 2nd ed OS shows as unroofed, now gone.

Mercer, site 544, refers to a longhouse in the wood at ND201674: Longhouse, dimensions 15m x 5m, height 1m. 2 internal divisions. Overgrown by trees. Orientation N-S, Elevation 75' OD.

It is likely that he is referring (slightly inaccurately) to the building on OS. - HAW 11/2002
