NG24NW 9 242 460.
The Water Horse's Grave, Osdale. On a flat shelf once under cultivation on the E slope of Dun Clach, abouut 400 yards NNW of Osdale Croft, is a fallen monolith. Itis a rough four-sided prism and entirely different from the other blocks of stone in the neighbourhood. It measures 7ft in length, 16-20ins in thickness, and at least 20ins broad. Probably a Standing Stone.
RCAHMS 1928.
NG 242 460. A recumbent stone, as described above, except that it measures 2.0m in length. It lies under a dyke enclosing an area of lazy-beds.
