Full Description

NB GR given to walled garden.
1st ed OS Shows formal parkland and gardens to Highfield House (NH55SW0074). Open area in front of the house (ie to S & SW) with tree belts and possibly row of trees from old field line. Fringed by tree belts, on E side as far S as the Mains Farm. On the W side extends further S. Within this woodland well to SW of house is a walled garden. Marked with beds at right angles to walls. A laundry is marked in the woodland a little to the W of the house and a small formal garden and kennels are shown close to the North Lodge (NH55SW0037).

Local reports are that the walled garden has been sold to provide building material for develoment in Aultgowrie - HAW 1/2003
