Full Description

Enclosure.
NW corner of sub-rounded enclosure/sheepfold in a very good state of preservation (see Plate 8), set on a level shoulder area below a knoll to the N and a steep slope to the S. The prominent enclosure walls, comprising large boulders and turf, now mainly covered in grass, are 1.5m wide and 0.7m high, and enclose a grassy interior which is 18m across at its broadest point.

From this location a line of large boulders, largely covered in heather, trends 326 degrees to link with the bank (of Feature 044 below) which retains a small burn curving around the S face of the knoll. <1>
