A cottage and associated outbuildings are depicted on the 1st edition Ordnance Survey map of c. 1870. These structures have been extended and now form the Newtonmore Craft Centre and Gallery. A planning application (03/00039/FULBS) to alter and extend the premises required a Photographic Record of the surviving original fabric of the building. Internal shots showing the gallery and shop layouts were also supplied.
