Full Description
Grouse Butt.
Water-filled, possible grouse butt, cut into the hillside at its upper edge, but with no leading spoil lip evident. It has been cut straight into the hillside, and has a possible entrance opening to 2800. This is the north-westernmost in a row of 9 disused grouse butts, trending SE from here in a line over the heather-covered N spur of Cnoc a’Ghrianain. <1>
