Full Description

NG26SW 11.06 2280 6118.

To the SE of Trumpan Church at least two irregular fields are defined by substantial earth and stone dykes, to the S of which are at least two buildings and three enclosures. The most prominent building (WAT90 228) measures 16m from ENE to WSW by 5.2m transversely within walls 2m thick and 0.6m in height. The ends are very round-ended and there are two plinths built on to the SSE wall.
To the SSE is at least one grass-grown mound on the S side of the burn. Within the fields to the N of the farmstead is a building which is overlain by a field bank and supplemented by clearance.
