Full Description
Linear Boundary Dyke, NC 85647 12846 to NC 85597 12871.
Low, broad, peat turf bank, with associated broad, shallow ditch on its uphill, N side, is cut by the existing access track at 285647 912846, and it trends 106 degrees obliquely down and across the steep, heather-covered, W valley-side of Badan Burn at 285714 912838. The bank is 0.6m wide and 0.2m high, below the track, but broadens to 2m wide as it trends towards 295 degrees, obliquely uphill to peter out at 285597 912871, where there is a possible 7m wide strip of old peat cuttings on its NE side. <1>
