Full Description

The 1st edition Ordnance Survey map (of c. 1870) shows a farmstead with associated enclosure at this location, between the Glenkyllachy road and the River Findhorn . The buildings are annotated 'Glebe'. The 2nd edition OS depicts these buildings as unroofed and does not name them. Current OS mapping shows a series of ruinous enclosures at this location.

A large rectilinear enclosure to the north-west is to be planted as part of a Woodland Grant Scheme. A series of photographs was taken prior to the start of the scheme and these depict a tumbled stone dyke. The dyke will not be impacted by the proposed planting scheme. The Photographs were taken by PAG Mackenzie and are held in Assoc. Docs.
