Full Description
Photos by C Dagg January 2005 following storm damage. Shows trees down on banks, plus check cemetery photos NG88SE0055 for other views - HAW 01/2005
The area to the S & W of the churchyard needs to be checked in detail as it seems to contain the remains of older field systems that pre-date the one depicted on 1st ed OS. There are a large number of stone mounds (see previous SMR number), but there are also the remains of banks etc. One in particular has been truncated, but remains c1.25m high where the old rowan trees on it survive.. Other clumps of trees seem to have had a similar survival effect - HAW 8/2003
