Full Description

NH63SE 57 6672 3310.

This oval burnt mound is situated on the edge of a knoll within a semi-improved field and to the SW of a deeply-cut drain. It measures 7m from NNE to SSW by 5m transversely and 0.5m in height. There is a slight indentation in the mound on the NNE, and the ESE has been reduced by ploughing. Mole hills on the mound are composed of cracked, reddened stone, charcoal and black soil.
