Full Description

During a desk-based assessment exercise by the Centre for Archaeology in 1998 in advance of an afforestation scheme at Glen Spean, a series of cultivation rigs could be seen on vertical aerial photographs on a spur of land between the confluence of Allt Glas Dhoire and Allt a' Ghiubhais, in the extreme north-eastern corner of the survey area. The site is now occupied by a sheepfold, the use of which has largely removed any coherent surface traces of the rigs - a few slight undulations were detected, but these lacked any clear evidence of pattern. <1>
