A shieling-hut; at least two possible pens and five other small structures (possibly shooting butts), situated on either side of the An Garbh-allt, were recorded during a pre-afforestaiton survey at Kinloch, Shieldaig.
The shieling-hut measures 5.2m from E to W by 3.1m. It has two compartments and the entrance is in the N wall. Two small rectangular structures, possibly pens, measuring 1.5m and 1.7m respectively and each built against a boulder, lie to the W, and the are five small circular structures to the S of the shieling-hut.
