Owner Mr Gamble contacted the SMR 10/2003 to discuss p/a for farm buildings,. Said that cottage had been built by Corriemoille Estate. When had been converted several years previously older features had been uncovered. This included original flagstone floors and a brad oven made of Brora (named) bricks. Among finds were a plaid brooch a silver coin of the 1890s and old newspapers (Inverness & Nairn advertiser) from between the walls dating to c1862. - HAW 10/2003
