Full Description

The 1st ed OS map show a series of 4 rows of earthworks along the coast line and then turning at a right angle to pass up the E side of Smithy Holm (track). The coastal facing earthworks still survive, but have modern stone terracing masking any earlier features. The rest have not been checked. - HAW 11/2003
