Full Description

Centred at NH 593 252, on a SE-facing hillside, is a settlement of three oval stone-walled huts (A-C), and an ill-defined area of contemporary cultivation.
Hut 'A' set into the slope, measures c. 12.0m NW-SE by c. 10.5m transversely between the centres of a mutilated wall spread to c. 3.5m in the SW, but decreasing elsewhere until barely visible in the NE. The entrance is not evident.
'B' set into the slope, is c. 14.0m NW-SE by c. 12.5m transversely between the centres of a wall spread to c. 2.5m all round. The entrance in the SE arc is mutilated by a sheep track.
'C' measures c. 12.5m NW-SE by c. 10.5m transversely between the centres of a wall of indefinite width. Outer facing stones are discernible in the lower SE arc and the SW. The entrance is not apparent. From the NW arc, a ruined field wall extends SW to skirt the top of rock outcrop, then continues down the hillside in a SE direction.
The cultivated area is marked by cleared ground, with stone clearance heaps and a few lynchets and field walls occasionally visible through a heavy growth of peat. Details of plots are indistinct, but one near hut 'A' measures c. 25.0m by c. 15.0m.
