Full Description

(Area NH 5153 2347) In Inverness Museum is a flat bronze axe found in shingle at the side of Loch Ness near Oakbank, Inverfarigaig on 30th May 1972. Donated by A. M. Scott, 59 Potter Street, Worksop, Notts.
Visited by OS (A A) 2 June 1974.

(Migdale type). Single find. Flat axe, condition unknown; length 73mm, butt 32mm, cutting edge 71mm, max. thickness 6mm. Inverness Museum (972.41).
