Full Description

Two mounting stones on the right side of the public road at Achnandarach. Thhis is where Muire or Mary, daughter of Kenneth Grumach MacMathon used to mount her palfrey. This was in the reign of Alexander II, which started in 1214. Kenneth was constable of Eilean Donan Castle.
