Full Description

An old boundary wall depicted on an estate map by J Farey, dated 1812. The function of the wall was to act as a boundary between Inverbrora Farm and the Inverbrora Coal Workings. A section of the wall runs from NC 90039 03274 to NC 90050 03231. The wall was cut through by the railway in 1871. The area of land on top of the raised beach that is enclosed by the wall appears to have the faint traces of rig and furrow.
