Full Description

Length 9m (external), width 4m (external). Dry-stone kiln house built into hillside downslope from feature DB18/22c (see 1984-1985 report). Lies parallel with slope in a scatter of rigs. Kiln is at northern end, about 1.6m deep and the same in diameter at the top, narrowing to about 1.0m at the base. Kiln has steps up to it from house with possible remains of internal scarcement or step. There is a niche or wall cupboard in the house in the kiln-end wall. House has probable opposing doorways, the western opening having been blocked at a later date. Much rubble spread internally.
