NH53NW 24 548 380 AND 549 377.

On the moss of Caiplich (NH 5437), which occupies a flat or piece of table-land, nearly 10 miles long, at the top of the district just mentioned (Aberiachan) are many sepulchral cairns, marking the sites of early clan conflicts.
NSA 1845

In the areas centred NH 548 380 and NH 549 377, in a valley now mainly cultivated, are a number of stone clearance heaps, possibly the "cairns" referred to in the NSA. No fields were discerned and no huts located. Visited by OS (R L) 14 April 1970
