Full Description

A possible site has been reported on a raised piece of ground at this location - by Norma MacAskill, formerly of Fiskavaig. The site is regarded as being the location of a collapsed building and is locally referred-to as 'the broch'. Mrs MacAskill has also reported the site to Patrick Ashmore of Historic Scotland. Although no previous record of the site is known, discussions between PA (HS) and KC (HC) concluded that the area lies in a position that would have been a suitable location for prehistoric monuments. It is not clear if any surface traces survive.
