Full Description
A rectangular brick building located next to the fishing bothies in Lower Brora. It is reputedly the last smoke house used in Brora. It may have had a louvered chimney in the centre of the roof.

Small upstanding brick building c. 2.5 m high & c. 2.5 m by 2 m in plan. Corrugated roof & small wooden door. <2>
In 1850, the village had three herring curing stations. Lower Brora has many traditional fishermen's cottages like those in Red Row. <3>
