A series of three enclosures abut the foot of a crag below the track to Tarbert, immediately above the rocky foreshore. The first measures 6.8m from NW to SE by 4m within a low L-shaped length of stony bank 0.6m in thickness. It shares its E end with the second enclosure, which is subrectangular and measures 6.6m by 4.7m within a stony bank 1m in thickness and 0.5m in height; several inner facing stones are visible on the NE. The third enclosure lies 10m to the SE and is also subrectangular, measuring 7.8m from NE to SW by 4.3m within a stony bank spread up to 1.8m in thickness and 0.5m in height. It lies adjacent to the NW corner of a small plot of lazy-beds (NG20NW 131.04), the outermost of which appears to clip the SW side of the enclosure.
(Canna 898-900).
Visited by RCAHMS (ARG), 11 March 1995.
