NH62NE 2 665 278.
Centred at NH 665 278 at the base of a W-facing hill-side, is a settlement of three stone-walled huts (A-C).
Hut 'A' illustrated by Loader (Visited by OS (R D Loader) 11 September 1963) and described by him as an enclosure, measures 10.5m overall diameter, with a mutilated wall spread to c 2.0m all round. The outer face of boulders is traceable around most of the periphery, though many have tumbled outwards. Neither inner face nor entrance can be seen.
'B' measures c 10.0m in diameter between the centres of a denuded wall, best preserved in the W arc where it is spread to c 2.5m, but elsewhere it is barely visible. No entrance or facing stones are evident.
'C', on a rise, measures c 8.0m in diameter between the centres of a wall spread to c 2.0m on all sides except the W, where it is scarcely visible. The entrance is not apparent.
No associated cultivation can be seen in the vicinity.
