The stony footings of seven shieling-huts are strung out along the contour on the heather-covered valley side to the N of an unnamed tributary of the Allt Mor. Five of the huts (KING95 539, 542-5) are subrectangular and measure between 3.4m by 2.3m and 8.7m by 2.2m internally. The largest (KING95 545) has two compartments, possibly representing phasing in the construction of the hut. A further hut (KING95 540) is L-shaped, measuring 6.5m by 2m, with an outshot 1.8m in length. Grass-grown middens lie outside the entrance of three of the huts (KING95 540, 544-5). What may be a later circular fold or pen (KING95 541), constructed of coursed boulders and measuring 3.5m in diameter, is situated next to an extensively robbed hut (KING95 542).
