NN59SW 4 from 5499 9348 to 5166 9499. MR 4 (formerly Lin 504).

The road heads for Garvamore, where there is a former inn or kingshouse (NN59SW 3), which was once a keeper's house (Salmond 1938), fell into a state of increasing disrepair (Taylor 1976), but was subject to restoration (Baker and Baker 1982). A mile to the N is the well-preserved Garva or St. George's Bridge, the first two-arched bridge built by Wade. The military route continues on the N side of the Spey, the tarred road which it follows being maintained by the Hydro-Electric Board, although there is a good deal of subsidence.

The military road is overlaid by tarmac in this section, which displays two military monuments. Garvamore kingshouse and barracks (NN59SW 3) lies at NN 5279 9429 and the two-arched Wade bridge, Garva Bridge (NN59SW 2) is located at NN 5217 9474, where the military road crosses the River Spey.
