This single span Wade-type military bridge, constructed in stone, is now disused. It is now isolated in a pasture field, the river having changed its course and the modern road passing close by to the N. The voussoir and soffit of the bridge are complete and in a fairly stable condition, although little of the parapet and upper spandrels remain.
Visited by OS (RD) 27 August 1965 and by OS (AA) 25 February 1971.
M Logie (Highland Council) 1997; NMRS MS 1007/7.
