This small sheepfold lies on the W side of a burn 400m to the NW of Tarbert farmstead (NG20NW 26). It comprises a wall some 25m in length on the NE, with a shorter wall on the SW, togethr forming a funnel into a small pen with a corrugated iron roof on the W bank of the burn. Opposite the pen, the bank of the burn has been dug away to form a ramp and until recently this was used as a sheep-dip; the dip was originally cobbled, but this was not visible on the date of visit.
(Canna 432).
Visited by RCAHMS (IMS, ARG), 30 June 1994.
