The remains of a tracked target range is depicted on the current chart copy edition of the OS 1:10000 scale map (1991), within the Military Ranges to the E of Fort George (NH75NE 3). It is situated some 350m NW of Littleton (NH 7921 5631) and the ovoid track and associated buildings are visible on the post-war series of vertical air photographs, (RAF 106G/Scot/UK 169, 3207, flown 1946).
