Full Description

During a desk-based assessment exercise in advance of a proposed afforestation scheme at Glen Spean by the Centre for Archaeology in 1998, it was noted that the OS second edition map of 1903 recorded a land boundary running uphill from Allt Glas Dhoire, towards the north-east corner of the survey area. This feature was not located in the field and was probably a post-and-wire fence, now removed. <1>
