A subrectangular building with a rubble-filled interior lies below a rock outcrop, overlooking a narrow inlet on the W side of Rubha Dubh. It measures 6.1m from ESE to WNW by 3.4m transversely within a stony bank 1m in thickness and 0.6m in height; stretches of both internal and external wall-face survive. An oval stony mound and an L-shaped stretch of ruinous wall lie about 15m to the ESE on the opposite side of the rock outcrop. A square roofed building and a rectangular enclosure are shown at roughly this location on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Argyllshire, 1881, sheet lix).
(Canna 912-3).
Visited by RCAHMS (ARG), 11 April 1995.
