A rectangular building and two stony mounds lie at the NE end of the uppermost terrace bearing traces of lazy-bed cultivation (see NG20NE 109.05). The building is constructed of drystone rubble and appears to overlie a stony bank that extends across the terrace between two crags. It measures 4.6m from NNE to SSW by 2.4m transversely within a wall 0.95m in thickness and up to 0.5m in height. This building is undoubtedly that (NG20NE 10) recorded as a blackhouse by the OS in 1972.
The two stony mounds are located amongst scree 30m and 80m to the NE respectively. The first is subrectangular and measures 4m from NNW to SSE by 3.4m. The second lies at the foot of a slope and is oval, measuring 6.6m from NNW to SSE by 6.4m. Although no structural elements are visible, both are probably the remains of tumbled huts.
