At least one hut and an enclosure lie amidst boulder scree at the foot of the sea-cliffs at the W end of Canna. The hut is suboval on plan and measures 4.4m from E to W by 1.8m transversely within grass-grown stone wall footings. The irregular-shaped enclosure lies immediately to the SE and measures about 3.8m across and is defined by a crudely coursed boulder wall. At the date of visit, the screes here were occupied by a breeding shag colony and it was not possible to inspect the area closely for the remains of additional structures.
(Canna 523-4).
Visited by RCAHMS (IMS, ARG), 2 July 1994.
