A group of eight huts is strung out along the slope at the rear of a terrace above the sea cliffs of Sgorr an Duine. All are fairly small and their walls are formed by single rows of boulders. They vary in shape and size, the largest being subrectangular and measuring 3.7m from NNE to SSW by 1.7m internally, while the smallest measures 1.4m by 1.2m. There are faint traces of lazy-bed cultivation (NG20NW 131.01) across the terrace. What are probably outlying huts and structures belonging to this group (NG20SW 44) are scattered northwards in the area of a field-system of orthostatic walls.
(Canna 288-95).
Visited by RCAHMS (IMS, ARG), 6 June 1994.
