A boat naust, situated on the shore line about 20m from the mouth of the Abhainn Bad a' Chrotha, was recorded during a pre-afforestation survey An Torr, Badachro. The feature, which is described as a boat port, angles up a fairly steep shore. A sand and rubble bank, lying at the mouth of the river, appears to be of relatively recent date as there is no growth of lichen on the rocks. It may be connected with depeening of the channel alongside Badachro Pier (NG77SE 18).
