A building set within a drystone dyke enclosure, which is set on open ground immeditely W of an unnamed burn, was noted during a pre-afforestation survey of Eskadale Moor. The building measures c.9m from NNE to SSW by c.5m over walls spread to at least 1.5m in width and standing up to c.0.4m in height. The enclosure, which is subdivided, is defined on all but the SE side by a drystone dyke, with the burn forming the fourth side.
