Aerial photography (RCAHMSAP 1995) has recorded a possible township and two sheepfolds overlooking an area of improved land 700m ENE of the township of Baileguish (NN89NW 14). Corarnstilmore is described in the Name Book (ONB 1858-61) as a "farmhouse and out offices one story high, thatched and in good repair", and four roofed buildings, two enclosures and a sheepfold 100m to the SSW are depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Inverness-shire 1872, sheet ciii). Only a sheepfold and roofed building immediately to the N of the site of this farmstead are recorded on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1971).
Recent aerial photography has identified at least four further unroofed buildings in this complex, and the last remaining building on the 1:10000 map sheet is now a ruin.
