A crofting township comprising eighteen unroofed buildings, one partially roofed building, forty-seven roofed buildings, one of which is annotated as a School and another is L-shaped, and their associated enclosures and field walls is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Argyllshire 1875, sheet v). Fifteen unroofed, fifteen roofed buildings and their associated enclosures and field walls are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1974).
