Oblique aerial photographs (RCAHMSAP 1995) have revealed the cropmarks of a circular palisaded enclosure, 150m S of Megstone farmsteading. It has an internal diameter of about 45-50m and a narrow line along the ditch edge suggest that it was palisaded. A possible enclosure is situated about 40m to the SE (NH54SW 70).
