Oblique aerial photography (RCAHMSAP 1995) has revealed the faint cropmark of a possible enclosure 500m NE of Culloden House (NH74NW 19.00). The visible E and NE sides of the enclosure suggest a possible internal diameter of about 35m to 40m. There are a number of indeterminate cropmarks in the surrounding area, the most distinctive being three crescentic marks, located about 80m to the ESE, measuring between 10m and 12m across.
Information from RCAHMS (KJ) 20 October 1999.
