Four small structures, situated in a sheltered saddle between two rocky knolls on a hill overlooking the Abhainn Poll Luachrain and eastern tributary, were recorded during a pre-afforestation survey of the NE part of the Drimnin estate. Two of the structures are D-shaped (NMRS MS 1012/1 nos.82 and 83) and measure 3.9m from E to W by 3.6m and 2.1m by 2.7m externally respectively. In each case the structure is defined by a roughly-built, 0.8m wide, wall standing up to 0.5m in height. A third structure (NMRS MS 1012/1, no.81a) is almost oval in plan with rounded angles. It appears to be turf-built, although probing suggests a stone footing, and measures 8.2m from N to S by 4.1m and is 0.3m high. What may be a fourth structure (NMRS MS 1012/1, no.81b) lies 23m to the NW and is reduced to an almost level platform, distinguished by a vegetation change to herb-rich grassland.
