Full Description
NH63SE 10 6678 3499.
Following directions given by Dr A A Woodham, a low, heather-covered mound was located in moorland at this spot. It measures 10.0m in diameter and 0.7m in height. Some loose stones, including two flat slabs, lie on the S side of the mound. No evidennce of a cist or kerb seen. A doubtful cairn.
Surveyed at 1:25000.
Visited by OS 5 September 1963.
This cairn, which is of doubtful antiquity, has been partially destroyed by a modern track.
