A farmstead, comprising four buildings, with an enclosure and two areas of cultivation lying to the N, was noted during a pre-afforestation survey of the NE part of the Drimnin Estate. The farmstead lies in a secluded wooded gully towards the base of a slope and overlooks Loch Teacius to the E.
The farmhouse is subrectangular with rounded corners and measures 8.7m from N to S by 5.3m over 0.75m thick walls, capped with moss-covered turf, standing up to 1.85m in height at the SE corner. The walls have a pronounced batter, whilst there is a buttress against the N wall. The building is levelled into the slope on the W. There is a door and two windows on the E wall.
On the same alignment 2.9m to the N at NM 6097 5801, there is a second building; possibly a byre. Again subrectangular in plan with rounded corners, it measures 5.7m from N to S by 4.5m over 0.7m thick walls, capped with moss-covered turf, standing up to 1.65m in height. The walls have a pronounced batter and the building is again levelled into the slope on the W. The entrance is on the E.
A third structure, at NM 6099 5799, measures 6m from N to S by 5m defined by a 0.6m wide single course of boulders standing up to 0.3m in height. A fourth building, occupying a level terrace, lies detached from the main group at NM 6093 5805. It measures 9.2m from NW to SE by 4.8m over 0.55m thick coursed drystone wall standing up to 1.35m in height. There is an entrance on the NW side.
To the W of the fourth building there is a large enclosure measuring up to 190m from N to S by 50m. Within, there are traces of two separate patches of rig.
