A slipway, to the NE of Doirlinn House, was noted during a pre-afforestation survey of the NE part of the Drimnin Estate. It survives as a 50m long, broad stone-cobbled path, 4m wide and bounded by a 0.35m wide and 0.6m deep ditch on either side. It was presumably a slipway for launching the ferry boats.
