A stone head-dyke, situated on the E of an unnamed burn draining southwards into the Strontian River, was recorded during a pre-afforestation survey at Ceann a' Chreagain, Strontian. It can be traced from Allt Ruighe Spardain (some 400m NW of Ceann a' Chreagain) and curves round to the SE to join the dyke (NM86NE 10) running parallel with the Strontian River. The dyke, which incorporates some large boulders, is up to 1m wide and 1.2m high. Its course is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Argyllshire 1875, sheets xviii and xxviii).
