Two dykes, bounding a cultivated area on the W side of the island, were recorded during a pre-afforestation survey of Eilean Fladday. The dykes, which are about 10m apart, extend westwards from the township (NG55SE 2) with the S dyke reaching the shore on the W side of the island. Some linear clearance cairns, 7m apart, lies to the S of the dykes with other clearance cairns to the E.
