A rectangular building, situated on a shelf in the lee of a crag overlooking Loch na h-Airigh Glaise and Loch Druim na Coille to the NE, was recorded during a pre-afforestation survey of Scourie and Foindle Common Grazings. It measures 4.6m NW to SE by 2.4m within 0.7m wide drystone walls. The NW end of the building has been partially robbed to build a smaller secondary structure, measuring 1.5m by 2.4m over its SE end. The building, which had retained its turf and thatch roof until the 1950's (pers com, Clerk of the Common Grazing Committee), is locally known as a hen-house.
